The Scope

The purpose of the project was to develop a modern user interface and control system for professional baking ovens. The panels would be mechanically assembled as modules and adapted to be integrated into a larger infrastructure.

An important goal in the development process has been design for manufacturing, which means that the modular product has low production costs, can be easily installed in the baking oven, is tested and ready to be put into use. Martinsson now manufactures and delivers the complete modular product to Sveba Dahlén’s production units.

Sveba-Dahlén’s brand new panel is self-learning, easy to use and makes all baking work easier. At the same time, the new panel gives you opportunities to develop your work routines and your know-how according to Sveba Dahlén’s marketing department.

The product is based on Martinsson’s standard RISC platforms. The Kyocera display has the latest technology with very good viewing angles and with a more durable touch screen type of glass/glass (resistive technology). The development project has been conducted in an efficient manner according to the agile development model, which has enabled us to implement functions in the application software that have exceeded the user’s expectations.
